About this beautiful poem, Carol Judkins says:


I think back, WAY back to 2013, when I first began publishing my poetry. The first poem I ever had accepted was in September, 2012, so you can see I was quite a novice at that time of this poem's birth. I am very pleased to think that it might invite comment, interpretation, and perhaps even criticism.


This haiku was inspired by a photograph, wich served as a prompt to me, a reflection. (The photo, incidentally, appears beside my poem in the aforementioned chapbook). If it is acceptable, I will defer my own interpretation of it, as when we send out our haiku, it now becomes the reader's poem. I would love…
