This poem is one that I remember the Genesis quite well!! I was taking a walk at the shopping center and someone had dropped a glove. It was winter of course. As haijin, these moments are precious to us. I knew from the start that this would work into a poem, and I was lucky enough that it caused me to be selected by NHK as Haiku Master of the week, January 2018, my third such honor.
The lost feeling comes through well in this layered haiku by Ed Bremson. A nice share, Sanjuktaa and Aparna!
