Congratulations to all the poets!!
Sorry to share this. The mastectomy is not a seasonal decision. A quite rude and emotional false haiku, no matter if it's related to a loved one. Putting a finger on this sensitive topic is not accidental. The voting is an act of empathy, regardless of the haiku's artistic merits. I didn't vote for this haiku, but I was sure it would be among the prize winners.
Congrats to you all!
Heartiest congratulations to the winners!
Congratulations to the winners, wonderful poems.
