I'm only just getting a chance to sit down with this issue and I am surprised and delighted to see that "beloved children" connected so strongly with the editors. Thank you so much, Suraja, for the lovely and insightful analysis highlighting the tension between cherished pastimes and adult responsibilities. I'm deeply honoured!

I loved the verse chosen for Editor's commentary. It is the story of our lives. Mothers, who struggle to keep their interests and identity intact even when they are actively self effacing it for their family. Relatable. Congratulations to the contributers. Great work by the Triveni Haikai team.
