This month is going to be a treat for our members. _()_ Thank you so much, Bryan.
My mother has a green thumb, and I see her at her happiest when she is working with her plants and getting her fingers full of soil. This monoku resonated in that way for me.
Wow, powerful! I could read it in multiple ways: The writer is a gardener who loves dirt under their fingernails, or a person consumed by grief, clawing at the dirt over the grave of a loved one.Or, both— think of some of those ancient myths, like Demeter and Persephone.
Very thought-provoking. Thank you for posting it
Good one. But I'm wondering why it's 'nails' and not feet. ?? Meaning he was walking barefoot?
Good one!
My kind of heaven. Great monoku!
