the west wind moves
as her hair comes down …
those summer days

Liminal Haiku
Some haiku do more than place the reader in a moment; they stir something—humor, tenderness, unease, recognition. They pay close attention to the everyday and trust small details to do the work. Nothing is pushed or explained; instead, each poem leaves a little room for the reader to step in and meet it halfway. This set of haiku, drawn from various editions of haikuKATHA, are ones I’ve enjoyed and returned to—and I hope readers find as much pleasure in them as I did.

Thank you Namratha for the good choice of poems!!
Ravi Kiran's poem has a touch of romance that I liked. It personifies the wind being affected by 'her hair.' Lovely curation, Namratha!
Beautiful ku!
