tattoo the wind
wow!
Thank you for sharing dear Kala❤️
Congratulations dear Gavin!! lovely!! I imagine an abstract painting where I have to be silent to interpret it. Awesome Haiku
Love 'tattoo the wind"...beautiful
Gavin Austin (from Australia) presents a beautiful and powerful image in this unique verse. Reading silences in a haiku is far easier than reading the powerful, loud sounds (for me), and I find this haiku is such a delight! The middle line has such an effective use of one image moving into another - 'thunder' links to the storm and the hooves. The use of the sound 'h' - as in 'hooves' and 'high' brought me a sense of the blowing winds. The harsher 't' as in the unusual word 'tattoo' to describe a sound, brought me to the sense of power in the scene. Thank you, Gavin, for an aural, visual (and I can even feel the stormy win…
Oh I like this. hooves tattoo the wind. How lovely is that.
