Sometimes when we as haiku poets compose haiku there is a certain joy or happiness that we experience after composing a haiku. The happiness could be due to various factors:
for example being available to register a moment and write a haiku or it could be because we found the right words and also a certain effortlessness involved in composing that haiku! This feeling is the gift we get for the haiku we have composed, and it keeps us going as a haiku poet! For the December triveni spotlight I wanted haijins to share such haiku!

I see two children with eyes wide open, waiting:)
Such a beautiful ku with wonderful imagery and I love the repeated 'c' sounds in 'clear', 'clouds', 'cotton' and 'candy'
Such a heartwarming imagery!
I’ve always loved this haiku — there is such an effortlessness about it. Whenever I read it, a sense of “Why of course!” comes to mind.
Lovely choice!
Beautifully expressed. Good choice, Ramesh
