of a poetic moment

As a citizen of Bangladesh, I am a proud Bengali. We fought for our mother language, our
independence, our freedom. I live in a country where one can see the beauty of six
seasons, soothing nature, an overwhelmed peace and the silence of a solitary moon. I feel
the freedom of a bird, and I live with love. When I selected these poems, these attributes got
priority. I hope the ku that I selected for this month will be appreciated by all. I believe that it will bring a new aura, will make all the poets more connected and will enhance the interaction
among each other as well.

I remember when I wrote this one. I was out for my morning walk on the beach, the sun was just coming up and the colours were incredible. This is one of those rare poems that came fully formed…no editing required. Blissful, like that morning.
