Published in forget-me-nots: haiku and senryu

My theme is haikai poems from books I have read and enjoyed and want to share with the Triveni family. Each poem is from a different book and there are a range of subjects. Hope you and Triveni visitors enjoy the poems.

It’s interesting where poems take you, I always spare a moment for the birds, often wondering what signal they are sending. From hearing the general chatter of a bush full of sparrows to the dawn or dusk chorus of a blackbird. And then comes the almost alarming bark of a peacock. Yes, they too I believe communicate about the changing climate around the globe.

Thank you for the ride, Namratha.

Like saying, praise the lord. 😀 I imagine it’s a relief from the soaring heat.

I need to adjust this one, I’m not sure the lava implications is being picked up. 😀
