"Haiku poets should be aware of the difference between mere sensation induced by a stimulus

and an aesthetic experience of a now-moment of awareness".

--- Speculations by Robert Speiss

Haiku is not just reporting what we see. It is born out of a recognition of an Aha moment. There has to be a sense of mild surprise before we compose a haiku.

It will be good to go on a haiku walk and compose a few haiku inspired by an aesthetic

experience. Please share the haiku which you have composed.
