4. 4th International Competition for haiku Poetry //

Japanese Films in Valli Cinema

On the occasion of the programme Japanese Films in Valli Cinema (Pula, Croatia), Pula Film Festival is announcing the 4th international competition for haiku poetry.

Submission window opens from October 23 to November 6 and the theme is cinematography, cinema or films.

Haiku must be submitted in English. The judging process will be entirely blind and read by Croatian haiku poets whose names will be published after the final selection. The announcement of the results will be published by November 20, 2023 on www.kinovalli.net.

The judges will award diplomas for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place and diplomas for 13 commendations. The selected poems will be exhibited in the lobby of Valli Cinema on the occasion of the opening of the programme Japanese Films in November 2023 which will be held from 20 to 23 November.

Submissions (one haiku per poet) should be sent to sanela@pulafilmfestival.hr along with the name, surname and place of residence.
