She didn't exactly have a backstory but spoke at length about her haiku group in Australia and how this poem came to be written.
The group which I convene on the Far North Coast of NSW, Australia, is known as ‘Cloudcatchers’ and we approach our twentieth birthday in December this year. We all live on the Far North Coast of New South Wales, and take our name from a dominant feature of the area, Mount Warning. This is an extinct volcano which appears to ‘catch’ clouds. I'm trying to get the breaststroke and it's not easy!
I loved the lengthening of a frog..a softer way of putting the facts!
