our easy silence

This haiku is filled with a wonderful feeling of joy and contentment!
Annette shared-
I wrote this haiku on a walk along a local riverside trail with my husband Paul. It had recently rained but the sun was out, so the puddles reflected the blue sky. Together for 30 years now, Paul and I are comfortable simply walking quietly side by side. As a contest judge commented, when you’re with your soulmate, there is no need for words.
love both ku and image! thank you, Vandana!
As a bonus, Annette has been generous to share the haiga she has made of this ku. Enjoy!
Oh wow. This.
Lots to think about, the image of the sky in a still puddle has always been one of my favorite images in nature. But connecting it with the jux...very, very deep. I will be carrying this ku around for a while today. Thank you @Vandana!
