Arvinder says: The image of a potter's wheel is particularly fascinating and perhaps like everybody else I tend to equate it with how our destiny gets shaped. Hence the fate lines. I have spent my childhood in rural areas and an image of the potter at work has remained etched in my mind. Other than this rumination of the mind I dont have any particular story behind it.

Fabulous poem. Contemplative in essence, it speaks of the age-old dichotomy between free will & pre-destination. At least to me.

The first line really draws me in. And then I am circling on the potter's wheel. Haunting!
