Now in San Diego, I was raised in a charming New York town, attended university and studied chemical engineering (later forensic chemistry and toxicology), then moved throughout the USA. Interests have ranged from the arts (ceramics, glass fusing, jewerly making, stained glass) to outdoor activities (kayaking, surfing, sailing, scuba, fishing, hiking) and now it seems most of my time is spent catering to a golden-doodle dog (Elliott).
