GUSTS: Contemporary Tanka

This month we have Kozue Uzawa, editor of the contemporary tanka journal GUSTS giving us her favourites from issue # 34. A lovely tanka comparing time to passing clouds; I pondered over 'parking lot' and why it was used. My interpretation is that while we idle in life (as in stationary vehicles), it passes by as swiftly as clouds. I wonder whether it's the opposite; we pass through this long corridor of time called life. What is your interpretation of time? Let's write about it, we would love to read.
